The head of the Family Guidance Department at the Personal Status Court in Dubai, Ahmed Abdul Karim, said, “There are factors that fuel marital disputes, and sometimes lead to divorce, even though they seem trivial or irrelevant to both parties, such as the wives' insistence on sending text messages via WhatsApp ) Or similar chat programs frequently to their husbands, including proverbs or advice related to ideal husbands, or situations of men who behaved dreamily with their wives, because these implicit comparisons put the man under pressure that provokes his anger and indignation, and makes him feel unappreciated by his wife.

Abdul Karim added to "Emirates Today" that this is a typical and usual behavior by many women, so one of them sends phrases that appear normal and nice, for attitudes or behaviors that we all agree, and we agree that they are necessary and logical, such as those that deal with good treatment of the wife, or the elegance of husbands. Or their agility and eagerness to play sports, and the importance of that to the wife and children, pointing out that the effect of these messages is reversible if the wife sends them repeatedly, or they are linked to a situation that reflects a different position of the husband, or a timing of differences between them.

He pointed out that these messages also include illogical video clips, some of which include part of a rosy lecture about the ideal marital life, and the kind of couples that we only see in drama or on social networks, so you send a clip of a man who opens the car door to his wife, and treats her like a princess Or another who helps her with housework, and the sender's husband does not usually do that, or documenting her friend's trip with her husband in a country that the latter published on her account on "Instagram", to show the luxury, happiness and indulgence that her husband provides her.

Abdul Karim emphasized that from the reality of many cases he dealt with through the family guidance department, the man feels that his wife does not properly appreciate him, and while others see him as his friends or his family completely, she considers him deficient, which causes discord between them.

He pointed out that the man needs encouragement, as does the wife, of course, and it is not healthy at all for either of them to compare the other with other people.

He explained that one of these factors is also listening to the advice of unqualified people who give lectures or programs, whether on television or via the Internet and social media, about women's rights, stressing that there are many exaggerations in talking about this issue, just as women have a right, there are rights for men as well, but The matter reaches some of the lecturers or speakers about marital life to the point of incitement, which is a reason for fueling disputes or raising them in the first place.

He pointed out that there are known duties on both sides of married life, and there is no doubt that the sound awareness that the government adopts through specialists contributes tangibly to building a healthy married life and helps contain any disputes.

He stressed the need for each party not to pressure the other during the period of conflict, to seek excuses, especially during a period of pressure and exceptional circumstances such as the Corona pandemic, and to realize that marriage is not a battle on land, advising the parents whose married son resides at home with them to deal wisely, and not to interfere in every little thing And big, because this is one of the main causes of disagreements and divorce, so you find the mother interferes with them without permission, and comments on everything.
