Former star striker Wayne Rooney, 35, of the England national football team, has signed a head coach contract with Derby for the summer of 2023.

At the same time, Rooney’s handsome Player Career has come to an end.

Rooney has worked as Derby’s interim head coach since November.

He was seen in Derby early in the season as a player, but in the future, Rooney will only focus on coaching.

Rooney played 120 matches for the England men's national team, scoring 53 goals.

At the club team level, he represented Everton, Manchester United, MLS club DC United and Derby.

At Manchester United, Rooney celebrated, among other things, five Premier League championships and once again the number one places in the Champions League, the Europa League and the English Cup.

Rooney is at the top of all-time Manchester United and England national team scorer statistics.

Derby plays in the English Championship Series, the second highest league level.
