A violent road accident occurred during the night of Thursday to Friday at a place called La-Petite-Hublais, in Betton.
A vehicle driven by a man in his thirties struck a tree in this town located north of Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine).
Alerted shortly after 2 am, the firefighters found the driver and his passenger several meters from the vehicle.
The latter had been ejected.
In serious condition, they were transported to the CHU Pontchaillou in a state of absolute emergency.
Inside the vehicle, firefighters discovered a dog.
The emergency services had to cut the vehicle to extricate the animal.
The latter was taken care of by the animal team and spent the night in the Saint-Georges barracks, in Rennes.
He will join the Chenil Service association this Friday.
