More than 16 thousand cases of coronavirus detected in Mexico per day

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Health Hugo Lopez-Gatel on Twitter.

The total number of deaths in Mexico was 137,916.

Since the start of the pandemic, 1,185,621 patients with coronavirus have recovered in the country.

Earlier, Lopez-Gatell said that the Mexican Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks may issue a permit for the emergency use in the country of the Russian vaccine against the Sputnik V coronavirus this week.
