In the suburbs of Paris, the capital of France, it was confirmed that a person who had never traveled to the United Kingdom was infected with the mutated coronavirus, and the local government conducted a PCR test on all applicants out of about 40,000 residents. We are increasing our vigilance against mutant viruses.

Earlier this month, a municipality near Paris in France revealed that staff working at a local school had been infected with a mutant virus that was spreading in the United Kingdom.

With no history of travel to the United Kingdom, local officials said the mutant virus could be spreading in the region, and between the 9th and 13th of this month, 2,100 people out of a population of about 40,000 wanted. We performed a PCR test too.

A woman who was tested with her child said, "I was scared to hear that there was a case of a mutant virus locally. I came to the test for peace of mind."

The local mayor held a press conference on the 15th, revealing that two cases suspected of being infected with the mutant virus were found as a result of this test, and called attention to the residents.

The French government estimates that the number of people infected with the mutant virus is 200 to 300 people a day, and is strengthening its vigilance by banning going out after 6 pm.
