Würzburg (dpa / lni) - Eintracht Braunschweig has fought a point in the relegation battle of the 2nd Bundesliga.

At the bottom of the table, Würzburger Kickers, Lower Saxony got a 0-0 on Friday after being sent off twice for Dominik Wydra and Manuel Schwenk.

With 14 points after 16 match days, coach Daniel Meyer's team is still in 16th place.

The lucky point for Eintracht was recorded by the excellent goalkeeping veteran Jasmin Fejzic.

In addition, the Würzburg team was very unlucky when Dominic Baumann (62nd minute) and Rolf Feltscher (90th) hit two posts.

High intensity and many duels determined the game, which only changed when they were sent off.

Wydra first saw yellow-red after repeated fouls (51.).

Later, Schwenk followed with a straight red after a foul from behind against Baumann (66th).
