Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - Advertisements for violating the 15 kilometer rule for four NRW districts were not known in the first days of the new regulation.

This was the result of a survey by the German Press Agency on Friday among the affected districts, police stations and individual authorities in neighboring areas.

There were no fixed police checkpoints due to possible violations of the 15-kilometer rule in the districts of Höxter, Minden-Lübbecke, Recklinghausen and the Oberbergischer Kreis.

On Tuesday, the 15-kilometer rule for extreme corona hotspots came into force in NRW.

The ordinance stipulates that residents from the affected districts may only leave this area "as long as a radius of 15 kilometers as the crow flies from the border of their home town (political municipality) is not exceeded".

Only those who live no further than 15 kilometers away are allowed to enter.

There are also numerous exceptions for both cases - such as the way to work.
