"The agency, on the basis of a statement by the Finnish National Institute of Health and Social Development, decided to extend the termination of passenger air traffic to Finland from the UK, Ireland and South Africa until January 25," TASS reports the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency.

Doctors in Finland have already registered a total of 61 cases of infection with new strains of coronavirus from the UK and South Africa.

Earlier, the UK has limited air traffic with all countries in South America, as well as with Portugal and Cape Verde after the detection of a new strain of coronavirus in Brazil.
