China News Service, Beijing, January 15 (Reporter Du Yan) Today, the "Guidelines for Early Screening of High-incidence Cancers in China" was released, covering high-incidence cancers such as colorectal cancer, stomach cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, and cervical cancer.

Today, the Beijing Anti-Cancer Association's 2021 Early Cancer Screening Standardization Seminar and the "China High-incidence Cancer Early Screening Guidelines" press conference was held online. The event was undertaken by the Beijing Anti-Cancer Association Early Cancer Screening Professional Committee.

For early screening of malignant tumors, China has always lacked comprehensive and authoritative guidelines and consensus.

Du Peng, chairman of the Early Cancer Screening Professional Committee of the Beijing Anti-Cancer Association and chief physician of the Department of Urology at Peking University Cancer Hospital, said that with the joint efforts of the group leaders, members and experts of the early cancer screening professional committee, lung cancer, There are authoritative guidelines for early cancer screening for gastrointestinal tumors, esophageal tumors, urinary system tumors, hepatobiliary tumors, gynecological tumors and other tumors, and the level of cancer prevention and treatment in China will reach a new level.

"Early cancer screening needs to be standardized." Ji Jiafu, chairman of the Beijing Anti-Cancer Association and dean of Peking University Cancer Hospital, emphasized at the meeting that early cancer screening requires scientific guidelines and strict management.

In accordance with the requirements of the "Healthy China Action (2019-2030)", by 2022 and 2030, the overall 5-year cancer survival rate will not be less than 43.3% and 46.6%, respectively.

Zhu Jun, secretary of the Party Committee of Peking University Cancer Hospital and director of the Department of Lymphatic Oncology, pointed out that the overall 5-year survival rate of Peking University Cancer Hospital has reached or exceeded this basic goal for more than ten years, but from a national perspective, there is still much to achieve this goal. A long way to go, "needs the attention of the whole society. It is not only the popularization of professional knowledge of health education for the masses, but more importantly, the overall improvement of the standardization level of diagnosis and treatment of oncology medical staff."

Shen Lin, deputy dean of Peking University Cancer Hospital and director of the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology, affirmed the release of the guidelines and shared a report entitled "The Status and Future of Early Gastrointestinal Cancer Screening".

Shen Lin pointed out that gastric cancer and colorectal cancer are both high-incidence cancers in China, but the 5-year survival rate still lags behind that of developed countries.

The reason is that the early diagnosis rate of gastric cancer and colorectal cancer in China is much lower than that of developed countries.

At present, for colorectal cancer, in addition to routine endoscopy, there are new screening methods that can detect intestinal lesions early and accurately by detecting biomarkers in human feces.

This new type of fecal multi-target FIT-DNA detection method has obtained China's first and currently only cancer early screening license, and can be used for screening of people at high risk of colorectal cancer.

It is hoped that various cancer types can find simple and feasible screening methods suitable for China's national conditions, and establish an early diagnosis and treatment system for cancer.

Xu Xu, vice chairman of the Early Cancer Screening Professional Committee of the Beijing Anti-Cancer Association and vice president of Baize Medical Group, said that the National Health Commission’s "Promoting the Implementation of the Healthy China Action 2020 Work Plan" puts forward 15 key points for cancer prevention and treatment. Measures and tasks, among which the standardization of early cancer diagnosis and treatment is the top priority, social resources should be more involved in the scientific work of early cancer prevention and treatment, and to promote the standardization of early diagnosis and treatment in the professional field.

In order to promote the further implementation of cancer screening and prevention, the Beijing Anti-Cancer Association has launched an integrated medical examination for early cancer screening that covers high-incidence cancers according to the key points in the guidelines. The screening can be customized according to the different cancer incidence risks of individuals. Project, and make targeted evaluation and interpretation.

It is understood that the service will be launched in the early cancer screening base of Beijing Jingxi Cancer Hospital and will be promoted in many public hospitals and physical examination centers in Beijing in the future.
