1. Jiangsu Huai'an "2.22" Sales Infringement and Pirated Books Case

The task force captured 10 criminal suspects, destroyed 3 counterfeit dens, and seized more than 200,000 copies of infringing and pirated books, involving more than 10 million yuan.

3. Case of Tan Moumou and others suspected of selling infringement and piracy in Kaifeng, Henan

  In June 2020, the Public Security Bureau of Weishi County, Kaifeng City, Henan Province, started with a WeChat online book purchase clue and dug up a criminal network involving printing and selling pirated educational supplementary books in many provinces and cities. 21 suspects were arrested and detained. There were 6 printing production lines, 53 machines and equipment, and 176 tons of printing paper. More than 70,000 books were seized with a value of more than 60 million yuan.

4. Case of copyright infringement of film and television works by Yang XX in Jiangmen, Guangdong

  Without the permission of the right holder, Yang XX and Wang XX posted the infringing film and television broadcast link to the website for users to watch on demand.

In addition, Yang contacted Lao and waited to go to several theaters in Jiangmen area to steal the latest theater movies such as "The Climber" and "Zero Post" and put them on the website for users to watch.

In September 2020, the People's Court of Xinhui District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province sentenced Yang to probation and fined 130,000 yuan for copyright infringement; sentenced Wang to probation and fined 160,000 yuan; two persons were recovered Illegal income.

5. The case of Su, etc. suspected of selling infringement and pirated teaching courseware in Dandong, Liaoning

  In May 2020, according to the clues reported, the Revitalization Branch of the Public Security Bureau of Dandong City, Liaoning Province seized more than 10,000 suspected infringement and pirated teaching courseware from Su’s laptop on the spot.

After further investigation, it was found that Zhejiang Huang collected and purchased more than 100,000 infringing and pirated online course videos through the Internet, and sold infringing and pirated courseware to more than 10 regions through the micro-shop set up by him, with a value of more than 5 million yuan involved.

6. The case of "0791DJ Music Network" infringing the copyright of musical works in Nanchang, Jiangxi

  Gong Moumou downloads a large number of music works on the Internet without the permission of the right holder, and provides online listening and downloading services. The number of clicks is over 18.81 million, the number of registered members is 640, and the recharge amount is nearly 33,700 yuan.

In November 2020, the Qingshanhu District People's Court of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province sentenced Gong to three years in prison for copyright infringement and fined 60,000 yuan.

7. Case of suspected infringement of software copyright by Cheng XX, Chuzhou, Anhui

  In June 2020, according to the clues reported, the Public Security Bureau of Dingyuan County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province investigated the case.

After investigation, Cheng Moumou and Wang Moumou made illegal profits. They dismantled the chip after purchasing the copyrighted CNC system of others, and hired Chen Moumou to crack the internal program of the chip, implant the cracked program into the blank chip, and combine it with other zeros. After the components are assembled into CNC systems and servo drives, they are sold on Taobao, WeChat and other online platforms.

Since January 2019, more than 4,000 infringing CNC systems have been sold, with a sales amount of more than 10 million yuan, and an illegal profit of more than 1 million yuan.

8. "March 25" infringement case of online game copyright in Yueyang, Hunan

  According to the case reported by the right holder, the Public Security Bureau of Yueyang City, Hunan Province investigated the case.

After investigation, Chen and Zhou used the illegally obtained software source code to set up private game servers for profit. Later Zhang joined and the three illegally operated three private server games, including "Royal Dragon", "Sword Rain Dragon" and "Beast Blood Dragon". On June 21, 2019, the illegal profit exceeded 10 million yuan.

In October 2020, the People's Court of Yueyanglou District, Yueyang City, Hunan Province sentenced three defendants to fixed-term imprisonment ranging from three to one year and six months for copyright infringement, confiscated illegal income, and fined a total of 9.54 million yuan.

9. Case of copyright infringement by Beijing Youyutong Education Technology Co., Ltd.

  In September 2020, according to the clues of the report, the Beijing Cultural Market Comprehensive Law Enforcement Corps investigated the case.

According to investigations, from November 2018 to September 2020, the company disseminated the teaching materials published by People's Education Publishing House to the public through the APP operated by the company without the permission of the right holder. The illegal business volume was 5148.4 yuan.

In October 2020, the Beijing Municipal Cultural Market Comprehensive Law Enforcement Corps imposed an administrative penalty of confiscation of illegal income and a fine of 30,000 yuan.

10. Shanghai Xiguang Network Technology Co., Ltd. infringed on the copyright of photographic works
