It was in December last year that the message came from the government that all activities conducted by the state, municipalities and regions and are not necessary would be shut down until 24 January.

Ten square meters per person
The reason why Växjö indoor swimming pool has been able to remain open is that the private player Medley controls the business.
Medley, together with Växjö municipality, which owns the swimming pool, has come to the conclusion that it is possible to continue to be open but on certain conditions.
The requirements from the municipality are that the swimming pool must be able to ensure that they maintain social distance and that there is enough space according to the new pandemic law, which states that each person must have at least ten square meters to move around.
