China News Service, January 14th. According to Peru’s “Gazette” report, the Peruvian epidemic continues to spread. Recently, the number of hospitalized patients with new crowns has increased sharply. Statistics show that there are more and more young people in the country with severe new crowns.

On the 13th local time, the Peruvian Minister of Health announced that the second wave of the epidemic had arrived.

Subsequently, the President of Peru announced new restrictions.

According to reports, during the year-end holiday period, Peruvian people relaxed their vigilance, and then the number of confirmed cases of new crown surged.

Although most of the patients entering the intensive care unit (ICU) in the first wave were elderly people aged 65 to 70, the situation has changed in the past three weeks, with more and more young critically ill patients.

The data picture shows the Peruvian police taking a ban on a nightclub operating in violation of epidemic prevention regulations. The picture shows the detainee undergoing nucleic acid testing.

According to Peru’s new crown epidemic data analyst Juan Cabajar, the infection rate among young people aged 20 to 29 has increased by 52% nationwide.

The infection rate of people aged 30 to 39 years has increased by 50%.

In response to the second wave of the epidemic, all regions in Peru are divided into 3 alert levels: very high, high and medium.

Depending on the alert level, corresponding restrictions will be imposed on curfew time, passenger capacity, and vehicle and pedestrian passage.

These measures are valid from January 15 to January 31.

According to another report, the Peruvian government announced on the 13th that passengers who enter Peru via international flights and undergo mandatory quarantine in Lima can receive additional nucleic acid tests. If the test results are negative, the quarantine time can be reduced to 6 days.

Earlier, the Peruvian government issued a supreme decree requiring all nationals and foreigners entering Peru on international flights to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine.

This regulation came into effect on January 4.

On the other hand, because of the discovery of a mutant strain of the new crown virus in the UK, the Peruvian government has suspended international flights to and from Europe. This restriction will also continue to be effective until January 31.
