"The issue of canceling the OGE on an ongoing basis is not being considered," TASS quotes a representative of the press service of Rosobrnadzor.

According to him, the abolition of the OGE will not be supported by either the professional community or the students.

The department noted that they are not yet familiar with the draft law.

Earlier, the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science, Maxim Zaitsev, in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper, announced the development of a bill to abolish the mandatory OGE. During the transition period, it is offered to take it only to those students who plan to enter secondary specialized educational institutions after the ninth grade. In the future, the deputies see a complete abolition of the main state examination.
