Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Striker Nicolas Gonzalez sees his immediate future at Bundesliga soccer club VfB Stuttgart.
“At the moment everything is fine.
I feel at home, ”said the 22-year-old Argentinian in an interview with the Stuttgarter Zeitung and the Stuttgarter Nachrichten (Friday editions).
The striker, targeted by some of Europe's top clubs, is currently not considering a move.
"However, I can assure you that I am here with all my thoughts and with all my heart," said Gonzalez, who recently extended his contract to 2024.
In the Bundesliga, Gonzalez has a lot of confidence in VfB.
“This team can still achieve a lot,” he said before the game against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday (6.30pm).
According to the Argentine international, the Stuttgart want to orientate themselves further up in the table with a home win.
At the moment, the newcomer surprisingly occupies tenth place.
