The Lower Saxony had to admit defeat to the Central German BC 91: 104 (54:49) on Thursday evening.

After a strong first half, the Braunschweig team only ran out of breath after the break.

Trainer Pete Strobl's team had to go into quarantine at home because of two professionals who tested positive for the corona virus and only started training again at the weekend.

In the end, the Lions lacked the strength against the MBC, the guests decided the final quarter with 33:23 and pulled away decisively.
