There is no question that Covid-19 can be dangerous for everyone.

Therefore, low numbers of new infections are desirable.

However, the risk of a severe or even fatal course increases unevenly with age.

In recent months, the majority of those who died or who died with the new coronavirus came from nursing homes.

In Berlin, for example, 63 percent of all corona deaths were home residents, in Schleswig-Holstein even around 90 percent.

Globally, a third of all deaths are attributable to two percent of the population, namely those who live in old people's homes or nursing homes.

As good as the contact tracking tool is, it will not work unless it is tested to the same extent.

The current challenge is that we do not have an infinite amount of staff, tests and financial resources.

If you accept that and we have tens of thousands of new infections measured in Germany every day, then you have to answer the question of how best to deal with these limitations.
