Babenhausen (dpa / lhe) - Four alleged perpetrators were arrested after an armed attack on a supermarket in Babenhausen (Darmstadt-Dieburg district).
The men, between the ages of 19 and 60, are said to have threatened a supermarket employee with a gun and pepper spray on Wednesday evening and demanded money, the police said.
With the daily income in the five-digit range, they then fled - but were arrested a short time later.
According to the police, they had "higher amounts of money" with them that could have come from the attack.
Because the store manager had been sprayed with pepper spray, he was taken to the hospital for an examination.
