Education postpones studies in public school buildings

The Ministry of Education decided to postpone the resumption of third cycle students in public schools to work in the school building next week, until further notice.

The Ministry stated, in a message sent to schools and students' parents, that all third-episode students will continue the distance learning system until further notice.

The concerned team from the Ministry held an urgent meeting to notify school administrations about this matter, stressing the need to inform students who chose to teach in schools not to come to the school building next week, and to continue their education remotely.

Parents' school administrations contacted the parents of their students, by email and text, with the decision to postpone studying in schools until further notice.

Students resumed their studies in the second semester of the current academic year, last week, and the Ministry approved remote study for all students “remotely” in the first two weeks, in principle, and according to the health reality and developments, what is necessary is taken in the interest of students, and students continue their studies according to school schedules. And the time distribution prior to the first semester.

The ministry indicated that for the continuation of the administrative and technical bodies in the school, it will be 50% for the administrative and technical staff alternately, according to a distribution plan drawn up by the school director, with the implementation of precautionary and preventive measures during the official working hours at the school.

Prior to the start of the second semester, last December, the Ministry held a specialized training week through remote visual communication technology, which attracted 37,000 educational field cadres and school leaders from public and private schools that applied the ministry’s curriculum.
