Ansbach (dpa / lby) - 33 patients and 29 employees in the Ansbach district clinic have been proven to be infected with the corona virus.
The clinic announced.
In order to contain the outbreak, a series of tests of the employees and patients of the psychiatric clinic and geriatric rehabilitation is currently being organized together with the health department.
The approximately 800 employees are nurses, doctors, therapists, but also, for example, craftsmen and housekeeping staff.
"There are also around 400 patients," it said.
The clinic further announced that it is not possible to understand how the virus found its way to the clinic.
All hygiene measures required in the hospital were observed and all regulations necessary in the pandemic were implemented.
