It's the end of February 2020 and sports holidays.
Christer Markusson and his family have gone on a bus trip to Italy to ski.
When they return home from the trip, some fellow passengers become ill and test positive for covid-19.
A few days later, Christer develops symptoms, high fever.
Christer is admitted for observation at the Central Hospital in Karlstad, but is allowed to leave the hospital after 24 hours.
Months without being seen
The high fever returns after a couple of days and Christer's partner drives him to the hospital again.
It will take almost three months until they can meet again.
