Johan Forssell (M) tells SVT that he wants to see that the National Board of Health and Welfare is commissioned to investigate which tools can be added for strengthened security in forensic psychiatry.

The police will now review how they acted in the case of the knife man in Rissne, but Anna Benedetti, head of the operational section at the Stockholm Police Region, welcomes Forssell's proposal.

- When a person is suspected of a crime, we have a toolbox that we use and it is significantly more extensive than when we have to act as a helping hand to look for a person, she says and continues:

- There may be a point in reviewing what tools the police get for actually finding a person.

I welcome such a review.

Outsiders paused

On Thursday, forensic psychiatry in the Stockholm Region announced that they had paused all accompanying outings after the knife murder in Rissne.

"Our business includes locking patients out of society, but the most important thing is to put safety first", says Magnus Kristiansson, deputy operations manager and head of security at Forensic Psychiatry Stockholm to P4 Stockholm.
