Facts in the professional and family context

The young man, who lived with his parents in the Angers region, was indicted in February 2018. He had completed several internships between 2013 and 2015 in kindergartens after having passed a CAP early childhood.

The facts were potentially committed in a professional and family environment, according to the prosecutor.

"Investigators from the Angers gendarmerie research brigade found child pornography images with victims who have not been identified for sexual assaults allegedly committed between 2010 and 2018," said Eric Bouillard.

In total, "several dozen children were heard, as well as teachers and school directors," he added.

A Parisian police official is also implicated for sharing illegal content with Angevin.

At least three associations for the protection of children have become civil parties.
