Zelensky's office told about the reduction in gas prices for the population

This is stated in a message published by the press service of the Ukrainian president. 

“At the meeting, after a long discussion, it was decided to reduce the gas price below the market price.

This means a decrease in [the amount] in payments by more than 30%, ”the message says.

At the same time, the acting Minister of Energy of Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko clarified that this decision will take effect from February.

Earlier, Sergey Makogon, General Director of the GTS Operator of Ukraine, said that the transit of Russian gas to Europe through the Ukrainian gas transportation system had reached its lowest level in the last 30 years.
