According to the ministry, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade on the topic of increasing export duties within the framework of the tariff quota for grain exports.

It is noted that the Ministry of Agriculture proposed to leave the intra-quota rates unchanged from February 15, 2021, including for wheat at the rate of € 25 per ton, for rye, barley, corn - 0%.

“From March 15, 2021 - to establish an export duty on wheat at € 45 per ton, corn - € 25 per ton, barley - € 10 per ton, rye - 0%,” the ministry said.

The Ministry of Agriculture noted that on January 15, it is planned to consider this issue at the subcommittee on customs tariff and non-tariff regulation.

Earlier, the Cabinet approved a six-month export duty on ferrous scrap.
