The Deputy Director of the Anti-Cyber ​​Crime Department at the General Department of Investigations at Dubai Police, Captain Abdullah Al Shehhi, revealed that a piece of information from a member of the public contributed to the arrest of a woman who was defrauding through an Instagram social network by promoting her work in bringing domestic workers. This woman gets money from people to provide them with servants and then disavows them.

Al-Shehhi pointed out that information was investigated and after verifying its authenticity, an ambush was set up for that woman and to ensure that she was not formally working to bring in support workers and exploited social media to defraud the public, so he arrested her and reached a number of her victims, pointing out that this simple information received from A member of the public saved potential victims from the trap of this woman who was being watched by more than 400 people on her account.

The Anti-Cyber ​​Crime Department announced to "Emirates Today" that about 30,000 community members belonging to 156 nationalities have cooperated with Dubai Police by sharing important information, complaints and reports through the e-crime platform during the past year.
