Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - After much back and forth, the AfD in Baden-Württemberg is now organizing a party conference - as a face-to-face event in the middle of the pandemic.
The MPs want to meet on February 6th and 7th in the Stuttgart Exhibition Center, as a spokesman for state chief Alice Weidel confirmed on Wednesday.
The association then wants to draw up the state list for the federal election in September.

In the past few months, the AfD regional association had already received a number of rejections when looking for a location for a party congress. At the beginning of December they wanted to meet in Göppingen, for example, but the hall operator had terminated the AfD's lease before the event.
