Dresden (dpa) - Trainer Markus Kauczinski from the third division soccer club Dynamo Dresden tested positive for the corona virus on Tuesday.

The club announced on Wednesday.

In addition to Kauczinski, another person from the third division team tested positive.

Both are symptom-free and have gone into a ten-day quarantine at home.

Since the entire team had to go into a five-day so-called work quarantine as a precautionary measure, after consultation with the Dresden Health Department, the club applied to the German Football Association (DFB) to postpone the game against SV Wehen-Wiesbaden, which was scheduled for Saturday.

The work quarantine stipulates that the players can continue to train in small groups in the open air in order to maintain their fitness level.

If the corona tests then turn out negative, the players can leave their domestic isolation and return to team training.
