On January 12, local time, the Indonesian navy discovered the black box of the crashed Sanfoqi Airlines plane.

Currently, the black box is taken directly to the Tanjong Bulu Pier in Jakarta.

  On January 9, Indonesian Flight SJ182 of Srivijaya Airlines lost contact shortly after taking off from the capital Jakarta, and was subsequently found to have crashed in the waters near Jakarta.

Radar showed that the aircraft had dropped 10,000 feet a minute before it lost contact.

There were 62 people on board.

  Prior to this, search and rescue personnel had recovered some human remains, passenger belongings and aircraft debris.
