China News Service, January 13th, according to Bloomberg News, Indonesian authorities said on the 13th that due to weather conditions, the search for the black box of the crashed passenger plane will be suspended.

At 14:40 on January 9th, local time, the Boeing 737-500 passenger plane of Flight SJ182 from Jakarta to Pontianak, the capital of West Kalimantan Province of Indonesia, took off and lost contact with the ground 4 minutes later. It was found crashing in the waters of the Kuril Islands north of Jakarta.

There are 50 passengers and 12 crew members on the flight.

On the afternoon of the 12th local time, the divers of the Indonesian Navy Rescue Team found a black box of the crashed plane, the flight data recorder, and salvaged it ashore about 23 meters below the sea area where the incident occurred.

But another black box that captures pilot communications and cockpit sounds has not been found.

On January 12, local time, the Indonesian Navy found the black box of the crashed Srivaki Airways plane, and the black box was taken directly to the Tanjung Bulu Jetty in Jakarta.

The person in charge of the Indonesian search and rescue agency said: "The weather is still very bad, so for the safety of divers, no underwater-focused operations have been carried out." The positioning beacons on the box all fell off due to the impact.

The head of Indonesia’s National Transportation Safety Board (KNKT) said that the recovered flight data recorder was "in relatively good condition."

This box is being dried, and the content should be available for download within five days.
