Dülmen (dpa / lnw) - Complicated rescue operation for a horse: with a crane and resourcefulness, fire fighters in Dülmen have freed a fallen horse from a trailer.
The horse broke through the front door when it fell and was lying with its front legs outside the transporter, as the fire department announced on Wednesday.
To get it out of its predicament, the roof of the trailer was sawed off.
Then the horse, secured with fire hoses, could be lifted from the crane and heaved back into the trailer.
The horse was taken to a veterinary clinic.
