Just over 1,500 of Region Norrbotten's employees were decided to receive a special one-off compensation for their efforts in covid care.
These are sums between 3,000 and 13,000 kronor, depending on whether you work directly with covid care or not, and how long you have worked.
But according to the region's yardstick, the nurses at the emergency room in Gällivare have not worked with direct covid care.
Therefore, they are only awarded the lowest compensation of SEK 3,000, something that made the nurses furious.
- They should be ashamed of themselves.
