North Korea's 8th Labor Party Congress, which started on the 5th, ended yesterday (12th) after an 8-day schedule.

In a speech closing the conference, Kim Jong-un, the Labor Party general secretary, said that he should be prepared for a more difficult head-on breakthrough.

[Kim Jong-un/North Korean Labor Party General Secretary: To achieve a remarkable advance, we must prepare for a more difficult head-on breakthrough.] The

two pillars that General Secretary Kim Jong-un emphasized head-on breakthrough are largely nuclear force and economic construction.

First, strengthening the nuclear force.

[Kim Jong-un/North Korean Labor Party General Secretary: We must do everything we can to develop the strongest military power while strengthening nuclear war deterrence.] As

mentioned in the Party Central Committee's project evaluation, the development of solid fuel ICBM and nuclear submarines, advancement of nuclear preemptive strike capabilities against the United States, etc. It means that we will constantly strengthen our nuclear force.

Although we emphasized the importance of economic construction, we chose to break through the head-on through self-reliance rather than cooperation with the outside world.

[Kim Jong-un/North Korean Labor Party general secretary: Overall arrangement and reorganization of internal power, and based on it, breaking through all difficulties head-on...

.]

Although the door to dialogue has not been closed at all, it is an expression of the willingness to continue the North Korean-style move without dwelling on relations with the United States and South Korea, and it also means that we will not give up nuclear weapons because of economic cooperation with the outside world.

Participants who adopted the decision of the party visited the Geumsusan Solar Palace with Secretary Kim.

Kim Yeo-jeong, who had previously been eliminated as a candidate for the Political Bureau, was pushed back to the fourth row at the place of worship.

The position was also lowered from the first vice-president to vice-president, but nevertheless, he alone presented a discourse criticizing South Korea.

The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff criticized South Korea with the primary expression of a'special nerd' in regards to watching North Korea's late night fever.

Despite the relegation, Secretary Kim seems to be in charge of the South Korean affairs in a short distance.
