North Korean media reported that the 8th Labor Party Congress in North Korea closed yesterday.

Chairman Kim Jong-un ordered the reinforcement of national defense by closing the 8th Party Congress.

Chairman Kim said that the deterrence of nuclear war should be strengthened, and that everything should be done to develop the strongest military power.

Reflecting this trend, self-reliance was emphasized in the economy.

Chairman Kim said that he should be prepared for a more difficult head-on breakthrough, and participants at the party adopted a decision to thoroughly carry out Chairman Kim's comments.

Chairman Kim visited the Geumsusan Solar Palace with the newly elected executives yesterday.

North Korea said it would convene a Supreme People's Assembly in Pyongyang on the 17th to deal with subsequent laws.

Meanwhile, Kim Yeo-jeong, who was also eliminated as a candidate for the Political Bureau at this conference, made a speech condemning South Korea.

Kim Yeo-jeong accused the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff of expressing hostile alertness, saying that North Korea is tracking the situation in which North Korea held a fervor at night.

He argued that he expressed hostility toward his people, and that he would be sure to calculate it later.

It seems that Kim Yeo-jeong has been criticizing South Korea and continues to play the role of overseeing the South Korean division despite his relegation at the party conference.
