In a catch-up game in the 3rd football league, the Emslanders lost 2-0 (0-0) to the second team of FC Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening.
Nicolas Kühn scored the goals for last season's third division champions in the 68th minute and Gavin Scott in the 74th minute.
From Meppen's point of view, the defeat was deserved because Bayern were clearly the better team, especially in the first half.
Coach Torsten Frings' team only had its first clear chance in stoppage time through Tom Boere (90 + 2).
