Berlin / Frankfurt (dpa) - Due to planned new regulations for entry from risk areas, the service provider Centogene is expanding its corona test offers.

The company expects higher demand at Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Hamburg airports as well as in the city centers of Berlin, Frankfurt and Wiesbaden.

Depending on the location, longer opening times or larger areas are planned, as Centogene announced on Tuesday.

In addition, antigen tests are to be used more intensively in addition to the more precise PCR tests.

In the future, travelers from risk areas will have to submit a negative corona test upon entry and then adhere to a quarantine.
