Munich (dpa / lby) - For the second time in a short time, there was a tram accident in Munich.

On Tuesday morning, a van collided with a tram in the Berg am Laim district, as the fire department announced.

A mother and her child who were in the center aisle of the tram were slightly injured.

Both drivers were unhurt, it was said.

The cause of the accident was initially unclear.

According to the police, a 59-year-old driver in the Berg am Laim district had already run over a red traffic light at an intersection on Monday and collided with a tram, which derailed, rammed a parked car and came to a stop on a footpath.

Four people were slightly injured, including the drivers of the car and the tram and two women who rode the tram.
