The outgoing president will travel to Texas today to praise his immigration policy and the construction of the wall, a key promise of his 2016 campaign. This is the case of the

Houston Chronicle

which headlines in its editorial: "

President Trump, don't bring your mess to texas

 ”.

In English it gives: "

Don't bring your mess to Texas, president Trump

 ".

The newspaper addresses readers directly, warning against the intentions of the outgoing president: “

Do not be distracted by Donald Trump's visit.

Do not believe what the White House is telling you, that this trip is meant to show that the president has fulfilled his promises regarding his immigration policy.

 "

For the

Houston Chronicle

, Donald Trump did not keep his promise.

“

After four years of presidency, the new portions of the great and magnificent wall which he wished to erect along the Mexican border are barely 50 kilometers long.

And, surprise, Mexico did not pay for the construction.

"And the newspaper continues its vitriolic editorial:"

This visit is an attempt of diversion from the violent insurgency of last week caused in part by the hateful and false speech of the president.

The

Dallas Morning News

concludes, "

Mr. President, before you flaunt your big smile for the photos, you are reminded that Texas is a state that celebrates courage even in defeat."

This is no place for old seditious people.

Government puts Cuba on blacklist of states that support terrorism

According to the

Washington Post

, this decision definitively puts an end to the policy of rapprochement with Cuba initiated by President Barack Obama.

It was under his leadership that Cuba was removed from the blacklist on which states such as Iran, North Korea and Syria appear.

Seeing the Communist government again as a support for terrorists could make a rapprochement between Cuba and the new Biden administration more difficult.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez was quick to react.

He denounced the "

political opportunism

" of the Trump administration.

You can read it in the

Granma

newspaper

, the official organ of the Communist Party.
