Kunnersdorf (dpa / sn) - A garbage collector was trapped between his garbage truck and a bus in an accident in Kunnersdorf (Görlitz district) and died.
The 56-year-old wanted to warn a bus driver of a road closure, as the police announced on Tuesday.
He got out of his vehicle to run to the bus behind his car.
The garbage truck rolled off and hit the garbage man.
The man was squeezed between the cab of his vehicle and the bus.
He succumbed to his injuries on the spot on Monday.
The 62-year-old bus driver was uninjured.
