In response to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the government has issued a state of emergency based on the Special Measures Law to call for thorough countermeasures until the 7th of next month, targeting 1 metropolitan area and 3 prefectures.



In addition to this, the government declared on the 13th that in addition to the three prefectures of Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto, Aichi and Gifu, as well as Fukuoka and Tochigi, a total of seven prefectures, based on the status of infection and the status of securing beds. It is a policy to issue.

The government has decided to seek opinions from an "advisory committee" made up of infectious disease experts in the afternoon, and if the policy is approved, it will be reported and questioned by the House Steering Committee of both Houses of Representatives. , On the night of the 13th, we will open a countermeasures headquarters and make a formal decision.



As a result, the target area of ​​the declaration will be expanded to 11 prefectures, and the government will shorten the business hours of restaurants until 8:00 pm, refrain from going out unnecessarily, and reduce the number of employees by telework by 70%. In addition, we will take the same measures as in 1 metropolitan area and 3 prefectures, such as limiting the number of people in the event.
