Itzehoe (dpa / lno) - A 44-year-old man has been answerable to the Itzehoe district court since Tuesday on charges of child sexual abuse.
The public prosecutor's office accuses him of having committed sexual acts in 11 cases of his wife's daughter, who was born in 2007, between 2014 and 2018.
In doing so, he sometimes exerted psychological pressure.
In addition, the man is said to have taken nude photos of the child, said a spokesman for the prosecutor.
The accused is not the child's father.
According to a court spokeswoman, another eight hearing dates are scheduled until February 16.
