Gets a little confused.

Mediterranean food is good for us.

But at the same time it is not good to eat in the evening.

At the same time, it is precisely in the evening that people around the Mediterranean eat their main meal.

Very strange equation 🤔!

Bosse

By Mediterranean diet we mean a lot of vegetables, olive oil, fruit, fish and white meat, but not that you eat late and not the diet that many people eat today around the Mediterranean.

How much do you think today's processed seeds / crops have changed our diet and ability to get the right kind of nutrition in us and how much we need to eat to assimilate vitamins, minerals and micronutrients.

Do we need to recreate cultivated plants to get a better nutritional balance in our food?

Glesbygdsbo

Yes, I absolutely think so, but perhaps not primarily when it comes to vitamins and minerals.

Older cultivars mainly contain more polyphenols, ie various substances that the plant uses to protect itself against attack, such as antioxidants, and which are probably important for our health.

Older varieties often have more taste, including bitterness, which signals this.

We should look back to old cultures and greater variety.

Not eating in the evening, does it also include not drinking water or a cup of tea?

Pär

Is it good to be a vegetarian?

Or do I get too little protein in me then?

Can I be a child and be a vegetarian?

La

Hi, protein is not usually a major problem for vegetarians to cover even if you have to combine amino acids from different sources.

The important thing is to eat varied.

What may be more difficult to cover is perhaps mainly vitamin B12, and therefore vegans are recommended to take supplements.

You can also get too little of some minerals such as zinc.

It requires some knowledge to eat vegetarian without suffering from deficiencies.

As a rheumatologist with a sensitive stomach, what should I eat to feel good?

Inga Jäderström

Hello

my experience is that fruits, berries and vegetables with different bright colors and fibers that you can tolerate are good and to avoid ultra-processed diet especially meat is good.

Try it out
