Mainz (dpa / lrs) - A good 30,000 people from Rhineland-Palatinate have now received their first corona vaccination.
Vaccination takes place in parallel in old people's homes, hospitals and 31 vaccination centers.
Now the new vaccine from the US manufacturer Moderna is also expected.
This is initially provided in the hospitals for the particularly endangered medical staff.
When is the turn of bedridden and old people who cannot make it to the vaccination center even by taxi or ambulance?
Health Minister Sabine Bätzing-Lichtenthäler and the state vaccination coordinator, State Secretary for Health Alexander Wilhelm (both SPD), will present the next steps of the vaccination strategy in Mainz this afternoon (1.30 p.m.).
