As noted by the TV channel, the head of the National Guard bureau, General Daniel Hokanson, said that up to 15 thousand fighters were "approved to meet current and future requests for inauguration."

Currently, 6,200 National Guard soldiers have been mobilized in Washington.

The Pentagon has authorized up to 15,000 National Guard troops for the inauguration next week, the chief of the National Guard Bureau says.
