Berlin (dpa) - In view of the ongoing difficulties with overloaded learning platforms for schools, the new President of the Conference of Ministers of Education, Britta Ernst, is promoting understanding among frustrated children and parents.

On the subject of school closings, she said that the ministers of education did not want any automatism based on the infection statistics.
"We want to take a closer look and assess the overall situation."
