According to reports, the results of the survey show that the approval rate of Yoshihide Suga and his cabinet has dropped by 9 percentage points from December 2020.

Regarding the timing of the Japanese government's declaration of a state of emergency in the metropolitan area, 79.2% of the respondents thought it was "too slow"; and 68.3% of the respondents said they were "not satisfied" with regard to the performance of the Japanese government in fighting the new crown epidemic.
