The updated situation in Italy and in the world

There are 12,532 swab positives for coronavirus in Italy in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

The victims are 448. Yesterday the positives were 18,627, the dead 361. There are 2,642 patients in intensive care (+27 since yesterday).



In the last 24 hours, 91,656 swabs for coronavirus have been carried out in Italy, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

Yesterday there were 139,758.

The positivity rate rises to 13.6%, compared to 13.3% yesterday (+ 0.3%).



Emilia Romagna

They are

1,942

the new cases of Coronavirus positivity in Emilia-Romagna, out of 9,632 swabs in the last 24 hours.

Of the newly infected 822 are asymptomatic and the average age is 45.8 years.

The province with the most cases is Modena (469), followed by Bologna (402).

The healed are 316 more, the active cases are 61,466 (+1,560), of which 95% in isolation at home.

There are 66 new deaths, including a 45-year-old in Reggio Emilia.

Patients admitted to intensive care are 238 (+1), 2,741 those in the other Covid departments (+36).

At 4 pm, 73,660 vaccinations were made since the beginning of the campaign, 5,905 today. 



Lazio

In the last 24 hours in Lazio have been recorded

1,254

new cases, 45 deaths and 1,113 recovered.

In Lazio there are 78,881 cases currently positive for Covid-19, of which 2,887 hospitalized, 321 in intensive care, and 75,673 in home isolation.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 97,858 have been cured, 4,176 deaths and the total number of cases examined is 180,915.



Campania

In Campania today, out of 9,690 swabs carried out,

positives, of which 934 asymptomatic and 87 symptomatic.

The total of positives is 200,792 out of 2,157,456 swabs.

37 new deceased: 12 died in the last 48 hours and 25 died previously but registered yesterday.

The total number of deceased is 3,165.

The healed are 1,655 which lead to a total of 122,910.

Out of 656 ICU beds available, 109 are employed. 



Puglia

Today in Puglia 3,577 tests for coronavirus infection have been recorded and

26 deaths were recorded.

Since the beginning of the emergency 1,122,582 tests have been carried out, 44,604 patients are cured, 54,933 are currently positive cases.



Sardinia

There are 8 new deaths from Covid 19 in Sardinia,

more positive cases ascertained in the update of the Regional Crisis Unit compared to the 2,431 swabs carried out in the last 24 hours.

The number of hospitalized patients dates back, 517 (+10), and of those in intensive care, 48 (+1).



Calabria

There are

270

cases of positivity found today in Calabria on 1,791 swabs examined.

Compared to yesterday, the number of people who tested positive has risen to 27,204 and 9,629 people are being treated in hospitals and in controlled isolation.

297 patients are hospitalized out of these 24 in intensive care.

In Calabria to date 464,378 swabs have been performed.
