Erfurt (dpa / th) - To combat the corona pandemic, the contact restrictions in Thuringia will be tightened from Sunday.
According to the new Corona rules, private meetings are only possible with members of your own household and at most one other person.
Previously, five people from two households were allowed.
The lockdown in Thuringia with closed shops, schools, daycare centers and facilities now applies until the end of January.
The Thuringians are also encouraged to do shopping, errands, sports and leisure activities within a radius of 15 kilometers.
However, this 15-kilometer rule is not mandatory in the Free State.
