The updated situation in Italy and in the world



Today, according to data from the Ministry of Health, there are 361 deaths and 18,627 new positives.

Yesterday there were 19,978 cases with 172,119 swabs and 483 deaths with a positive rate on swabs of 11.6%. 



Furthermore, today there is an increase of 7,090 cases in the currently positive ones and an increase also among the discharged and healed of 11,174 cases for a national total of 1,617,804.



In Emilia Romagna 2,193 new cases and 58 deaths


Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 190,892 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 2,193 more than yesterday, out of a total of 10,206 swabs performed in the last 24 hours.

In the last 24 hours, 10,206 swabs were carried out, for a total of 2,695,285.

To these are added 119 serological tests and 7,053 rapid swabs carried out since yesterday.

As for the total number of people healed, they are 593 more than yesterday and thus rise to 122,647.

The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 59,908.

Of these, people in isolation at home are 56,966 (+1,519), 95% of the total number of active cases.

There are 58 new deaths.

In total, 8,337 deaths in Emilia-Romagna since the beginning of the epidemic.

There are 237 patients admitted to intensive care (3 fewer than yesterday), 2,705 those in the other Covid departments (+ 26).



Veneto, 2,167 new cases and 44 deaths


The daily growth of coronavirus infections in Veneto slows down, which this morning marks 2,167 new cases and a total of 285,986 since the beginning of the pandemic.

The regional Bulletin reports another 44 deaths, which bring the total deaths to 7,389.

Healthcare data is rising again, with 43 new hospitalizations in non-critical wards, and 2,992 beds occupied;

in intensive care there are 9 new patients, for 389 hospitalized.



In Campania 1,253 new positives


There are 1,253 patients who tested positive today at Covid in Campania, of which 1,170 asymptomatic and 83 symptomatic, 15,411 swabs were performed.

Since the beginning of the emergency, therefore, 19,9771 positives in Campania are compared to 2,147,766 swabs examined.

There are 13 deceased of which 7 died in the last 48 hours and 6 died previously but registered;

yesterday;.

The healed in the last 24 hours are 1,128;

the total number of healed is 121,255.

There are 656 intensive care beds available;

those occupied 106, Available hospital beds: 3,160 (between Covid beds and private offer);

1,377 hospital beds are occupied. 



In Puglia 1,162 new positives and 24 deaths


The president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, on the basis of information from the director of the Health Promotion Department Vito Montanaro, informs that today, Sunday 10 January, 8,510 tests for the infection were performed in Puglia from Covid-19 and 1,162 positive cases were recorded.

24 deaths were recorded.

Since the beginning of the emergency, 1,119,005 tests have been carried out.

43,662 patients are cured, 55,279 cases currently positive.

The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 101,613.



687 positives in 24 hours in the Marche


There are 687 covid positives detected in the Marche in the last 24 hours in the new diagnosis path.

The Regional Health Service reported that 5,544 swabs have been tested in the last 24 hours.



In Friuli Venezia Giulia 642 new cases and 21 deaths


Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia out of 4,573 molecular swabs, 532 new infections have been detected, in addition to 110 cases already tested positive for the antigenic swab in recent days and confirmed by molecular tests.

There are 21 registered deaths, plus a previous death which occurred on January 2.

There are 64 hospitalizations in intensive care while those in other departments are 703. This was announced by the deputy governor with responsibility for health, Riccardo Riccardi.

The total deaths amounted to 1,898.

The totally healed increase to 40,343, the clinically healed rise to 1,107, while the people in isolation are 12,118.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 56,233 cases from molecular swabs.



Tuscany, 472 new cases and another 15 deaths


Another 472 new Covid cases in Tuscany (average age 49 years) out of 9,469 swabs performed (about 5% positive) and another 15 deaths (average age 84.7 years) which bring the total to the region to 3,855 victims, with Florence and its province exceeding 1,300 units (1,301 with another seven deaths).

The new cases registered in the 24 hours are 0.4% more and now the total in Tuscany since the beginning of the pandemic is 124,951.

The healed also grew by 0.4% and reached 111,995.

The swabs performed reached 1,965,493.

The currently positive for Coronavirus are 9,101 (-0.1%) of which 909 hospitalized (-22 units and 140 in intensive care, one more) and 8,192 patients in isolation at home with mild or asymptomatic symptoms (+18 on yesterday) .

There are also 12,591 people (-152 up compared to yesterday, -1.2%) isolated in home fiduciary quarantine, under active surveillance by the ASL because they have had contact with infected people.

In the 24 hours the healed were 461 more of which 23 clinically healed (+ 4.9%) and 438 (+ 0.4%) declared healed in all respects, the so-called viral healings, with negative swab.



In Calabria 409 new cases and 5 deaths


In Calabria to date 442,621 people have been tested for a total of 462,587 swabs performed.

The people who tested positive for the coronavirus are 26,934 (+409 compared to yesterday), the negative ones 415,687.

This was announced by the Calabria region in the daily bulletin of coronavirus data: deaths since the beginning of the emergency are 514 (+5 compared to yesterday).



In Valle d'Aosta 19 new positive cases and one death


In Valle d'Aosta 19 new positives at Covid which bring the total to 7,505 since the beginning of the pandemic, according to data from the regional bulletin.

The current positives rise to 430, 7 less than yesterday, of which 53 hospitalized (+3 compared to yesterday).

Among these, one is in intensive care and 376 are people currently in home isolation (-10).

A new death has been recorded, for a total of 389 since the beginning of the pandemic.
