Potsdam (dpa / bb) - The number of new corona infections in Brandenburg rose by 669 within one day, and there were also 18 new deaths in connection with a Covid 19 disease.
However, three districts had apparently not made any reports or reported any new cases, as the message from the Ministry of Health revealed on Sunday.
On Saturday, 1173 new infections were registered and the maximum of 63 other deaths.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of almost 55,000 people have fallen ill in Brandenburg and there have been 1,490 deaths.

17,660 people are currently suffering from Covid-19, 359 more than the day before.

The Spree-Neisse district remains the corona hotspot with a seven-day incidence of 568.9 as on the previous day.
