Dozens of Qatari citizens crossed - for the second day in a row - towards Saudi Arabia, after the reopening of the borders between the two countries according to the agreement announced at the last Gulf summit.

The French Press Agency quoted the Director of Customs at the Saudi Salwa Port, Ali Al-Aklabi, that 167 Qatari cars have entered Saudi Arabia since the port was reopened on Saturday.

It also quoted Qatari citizen Muhammad Al-Marri, after entering Saudi Arabia, that "coming to Saudi Arabia means coming to our second country, there is no difference in our traditions."

In parallel with the continuation of the transit traffic through the ports of Abu Samra Al-Qatari and Salwa Al-Saudi, Qatar Airways and Saudi Arabia announced Saturday the resumption of flights between the two countries, starting from Monday.

The Gulf Cooperation Council summit, which was held in the Saudi city of Al-Ula, last Tuesday, announced the end of the Gulf crisis, which lasted more than 3 years.
